The Hunger Games movie was VERY different from the book. It had the same plot, yes but it was missing very huge details that the director probably thought was little. Well, all of us fans who read it, can notice this. The movie was rushed, a lot of details were missing, and most of all they left out many injuries. (Attention: I have spoilers after this paragraph.)
The movie may have seemed bad by my review but, I actually loved it. It made me so emotional and helped me imagine how things would look. I cried when Rue died and got really scared at some of the injuries and the Mutts. In the end, I ended up acting like a emotional teenage girl who wouldn't stop crying.
One part I noticed was that Clove was sleeping on top of Cato when the careers were under Katniss' tree. So I thought: Maybe something was going on between them and maybe they were more than one "Star-Crossed Lovers."
I loved the actor choices for everyone...but Katniss. Not to be mean but, Jennifer Lawrence, you need to learn how to look wise yet unfriendly. get more into character. I actually think that Kristen Stewart should have been Katniss. Kristen Stewart has that surprised, scared, and epic look down.
And.... I am TEAM PEETA AND TEAM GALE!
My eyes were starting to get watery when Rue died. And true they did rush it a lot.But it was still good.:)
