1.) Solar Flares, What are they?
Solar Flares are radioactive flares that come from the sun. They are harmful but, we are protected from them by our thick atmosphere. If there ever was a really huge one (Bigger then the 2012 one) then we might actually die.)
2.) What potential harm do they have on humans?
Solar Flared happen every day so, they can cause satellites to mess up (That scribbly noise you hear on the radio sometimes), it can cause black outs (lights to go out), and lastly it could create radioactive waves to hit and kill us but, they happen every day and our thick atmosphere turns it into The Northern Lights. (The Northern Lights Usually occur to the Northern countries/states; mostly Alaska for state then mostly for countries, Canada, The Nordic Countries, etc.)
3.) What causes Solar Flares?
Solar Flares are an intense and fast brightness from the
sun. (visualize-ly) In scientific term it is radiation emitted from the sun in
a burst of light. Radioactive flares (solar flares) emitted from the sun,
happen every day. There are about over a million of them each year. Every
eleven years the activity of solar flares changes from low to high. (In these
eleven years.)
