LX/ California Academy of Science

Yesterday we went to the California Academy of Science in San Francisco for a field trip. We seen allot of cool animals. There were jellyfish, frogs, toads, butterflies, an albino alligator, and allot more.

A blue butterfly landed on my left shoulder. I got really excited about that because there's this song called 'Migikata no chō' (Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder) about a purple butterfly on someone's right shoulder. When I thought of this I thought about there being a purple butterfly on your right and on your left a blue one. I guess you can take this as a metaphor for good things and bad things. Because the purple one was bad in the song. And my blue one was really cool and nice.

The albino alligator was supposed to be the best thing of all but, the poor thing didn't really move. I felt sorry for it because it must be lonely in there. I think they should get another alligator in there. The thing needs things of its kind in that tank.

We seen this giant sea bass. It was about thirty years old and it was a HUGE fish. But, there were also HUGE alligator gars like I seen on the deadliest catch. All the fish were unique in there own way. Some were very vibrant and neon colors, some were huge, and then some were camouflaged. (This next sentence is a joke.) I was really sad not to see a British guy with a British accent trying to do black magic by saying 'Dumbledora the Explora' or all of the names of the Jackson family. (Sorry for my horribly immature humor.) *Sorry I went into British mode right here...I blame Hetalia.*

My favorite animal had to be the cownose rays. The way their 'wings' 'fly' in the water. I don't know how else to describe it but, they were just so beautiful and I loved them the most. (Cownose Rays are like Manta Rays.) The cownose rays are near the threatened point. Fisher men keep on pulling up these beautiful creatures and killing them. Oh, and I guess you can say that I love all of the rays. But, my favorite is the cownose ray.

Their roof had a HUGE garden. And it was filled with flowers, grass, and many other wonderfully beautiful plants.

On the way over to San Francisco we all seen a glimpse of the Golden Gate bridge. We even seen deer on the way over too. No to mention some really cool architecture.

I could go on forever talking about yesterday but, I will now end this post with the best thing of all.

On the bus ride back home me and my friends were singing really loud in the back. My friends and I sung 'Baby' by Justin Bieber. I sung some solo songs too. I sung 'Canadian, Please', 'Ding Ding Dong', 'That's What You Get', 'Fences', 'Misery Business', and some other songs too. It was really funny and I enjoyed it.

I really want to go back to the California Academy of Science.
