Well...
I don't use this blog anymore/often because I have a new one for the new year. http://natashal2012-13.blogspot.com/ But I would like to say something about things in my life out of school...Well, mostly some lessons I have learned. Like don't let boys get in your way. Ugh. More likely...just don't let stupid boys get in your way because not all boys are like that...Or not to let anyone distract you or get mad at the teacher when you know you did something wrong. And to always be yourself and don't change for anyone if they tell you to. You are yourself and you should stay that way. If they don't like it, then they aren't a true friend.

XCVI/ 5 Memories
Looking back on my 7th grade year, there are plenty of great memories. Here I will list five of them.
1.) Secret Santa: During Christmas time I was in two different secret santa groups. It was crazy for me to finally decide what to buy. In the end I bought Sonia some gloves and I made Vanessa some doughnuts.
2.) Shtuff: One time in the year, my teacher Mr. Inda said "Team captains get your shtuff and take it to the back cabinet." I cracked up on the floor right there. Ever since then I never forgot it and I always tease him about it.
3.) My 13th birthday: I will never forget waiting for all of my female best friends from school to come to my birthday. We had plenty of fun too.
4.) Soder: Mr. Inda wasn't the only one who messed up on a word. All on the same day I accidentally said "Soder" instead of soda. Ever since then I always say "Soder."
5.) Fangirling Out in the Lockeroom: My cousin, her friends, and I made a video of me "Fangirling Out" over One Direction in the Lockeroom. It was filled with squealing, screaming, crying, and epic craziness.

XCV/ Visit
Yesterday our mentors from East Austin Texas College Prep Academy came to our school to visit. We had our dance with them and for some of us who went to the globey awards...we seen them there too.
I had a lot of fun with my mentor and his friends. They were really cool and all of us had a lot in common.
We ended up becoming friends after it and I can't wait until next year because I will be organizing the field trip to see them in Texas. (I am the Treasurer.)
Next, the students from Texas were very cool. I noticed how Stephanie got very well along with hers and was shuffling with her. I liked how a few of them were actually dancing at the dance.
And some of the other students had really cool games that they had made this year. I hope that maybe one day I could make a game that can be submitted in the nationals.

XCIV/ Dream Field Trip
1.) Where would you go for your dream field trip?
I would go to Disneyland for my dream field trip. Disneyland is just the right size, distance away, and it is perfect for a three day class trip. As Disney World is too huge, too far away, and you need at least a week for a field trip there.
2.) How would it help you with your learning?
Disneyland would help me with my learning because we can learn about plenty of things there such as animation, engineering, and some history. Also it will be fun to just go on all of the rides with your friends.

XCIII/ PE
1.) What PE games have you learned to play this year?
I have learned how to play Flag Football, Soccer, Volleyball, Street Hockey, and Kickball this year. In that exact order too.
2.) What PE games will you like to learn more about?
I would really like to learn more about Volleyball since it's my favorite game and I have played it in the summer once before. It would also be nice to learn Softball since I always do that in the summer (ever since 5th grade summer).

XCII/ 6th Graders
1.) What great things can you share about 7th grade STEMS with the 6th graders?
To describe the 7th grade STEMS program within one blog post is slightly impossible with the amount of time I have. All I can say now though is: You get to learn better then at a regular middle school, you have a small amount of homework, you can make video games, and you can do fun activities (STEM projects).
I don't want to ruin/spoil the surprise for what this is like so, you'll just have to wait and experience it yourself.

XCI/ Math Blocks and Math Sports
Unfortunately, my team's game didn't make it to the finals. Math Blocks and Math Sports made it to the finals so, I am going to say what I enjoy about their games.
Math Blocks
This game has very good animations and I love the idea of making Tetris into a math game. This game is great to practice your math facts or even learn how to start your math facts. Not to mention the hidden animations.
Math Sports
This game is fantastic. One of my friends is the captain to this team and he is the hardest worker in our class for Flash. he did a great job on the game-play and the idea of using square roots is very unique and I give him extra props for that.
